Do you have any Football Sunday's coming up? Holiday parties? Book club meetings? For any sort of get together or potluck party you may have, you can never go wrong with chips and dip. They are simple to make, and always a fan favorite. So today we are going to go through 4 of my favorite party dip recipes step-by-step, 2 hot, 2 cold.
First my all time favorite: Spinach and Artichoke Dip
What You'll Need:
- Artichoke Hearts: 1C
- Fresh Spinach: 1C
- Garlic, minced: 3 Cloves
- Onion: 1/2C
- Sour Cream: 1/2C
- Cream Cheese: 4oz
- Milk 1tbsp
- Shredded Mozzarella Cheese: 1C
- Grated Parmesan Cheese: 1/2C
- Garlic Salt: 1/2tsp
- Italian Seasoning: just a pinch
- Pepper: just a pinch
What To Do:
- Preheat the oven to 400
- Chop artichokes, spinach, and onion
- Add in garlic
- In a separate bowl, combine softened cream cheese, sour cream, and milk
- Combine together, then mix in (1/2C) mozzarella and (all)Parmesan cheese, mix well
- Add in garlic salt, Italian seasoning, and pepper
- Put into greased pan and sprinkle rest of mozzarella cheese on top
- Bake for about 30 minutes or until golden brown
Next we'll go with a classic: Buffalo Chicken Dip
What You'll Need:
- Cooked Chicken Breast, chopped or shredded: 1C
- Cheddar Cheese: 2 C
- Hot Sauce or Buffalo Sauce: 1/3C
- Sour Cream: 1/4C
- Cream Cheese: 4oz
- Ranch Dressing: 1/3C
What To Do:
- Preheat the oven to 350
- Combine softened cream cheese, sour cream, ranch dressing, and hot sauce in bowl
- Once blended, add in chicken and (1C) cheddar cheese
- Mix well and put into a greased pan and sprinkled rest of cheddar cheese on top
- Bake for 20-30 minutes or until golden brown
Next let's go with: Taco Dip
What You'll Need:
- Cream Cheese: 8oz
- Sour Cream: 1C
- Taco Seasoning: 2 tbsp
- Shredded Lettuce: 2C
- Colby & Jack Shredded Cheese: 2C
- Tomatoes, chopped: 1 C
- Salsa: 1C
- Black Olives(1/2C), Refried Beans(1C), Onions, chopped (1/4C): OPTIONAL
What To Do:
- (If using refried beans), spread layer over the bottom of dish
- In a separate bowl, combine softened cream cheese, sour cream, salsa, and taco seasoning until well blended, then spread layer over the beans (this will be the bottom layer if n, followed by a layer of lettuce
- Add tomatoes, olives, and onion onto top layer by sprinkling over evenly
Finally, we'll finish off with a new favorite of mine: Corn Dip
- Cream Cheese: 8oz
- Mayo: 1C
- Sour Cream: 1C
- Lime Juice: 2tbsp
- Mexicorn: 2 cans
- Shredded Mexican 4 Cheese: 2C
What To Do:
- Combine softened cream cheese, mayo, sour cream, and lime juice, mix well
- Add in 1/2C Mexican cheese
- Drain liquid out of corn, and add cans into the mixture, blend well
- Put into serving dish, and sprinkled rest of shredded cheese on top
